It will be interesting to see what happens to AMG’s estate sale numbers now that MB no longer has a monopoly on the segment.

Very very cool. I could not live with the overstated/ aggressive look every day, but I am definitely looking forward to seeing these on the road over here.

This Audi looks very promising. I love the flared fenders & 22" wheels! Somewhat surprised it comes in with <600hp

The stance and wheels look really nice. So does the lighting.

I'm not usually a fan of wagons/estates but this looks really nice!

Looks mean, about time they did this. Really curious to see where they price it. Between this, the E63, and Panny ST good time to be into wagons.

I like it a lot. Now if I could convince the wife to let us buy it when her car is due for an upgrade, that’d be nice. We’d be the house with both a Mercedes and an Audi wagons.

Where did you get this info?

I spoke to Audi North Miami and they are taking $5,000 deposits now. They don't expect delivery until Summer 2020 and no info on pricing, units or ordering guide.

Hell I chose the E63s wagon over my 2016 Turbo S because the wagon is just that good in my opinion.

Really like the look but the cars seems surprisingly slow. Worlds apart from the M5C/E63s...
German AMS mag shows 3.6 sec to 100kmh (62mph) and 12 sec to 200 (124mph)

I like the looks and interior and exterior although not a huge touch screen everything person myself. Agree on the numbers. You’d expect they’d at least match the previous RS6/7 performance figures of 605 hp?? Let’s see what the real world numbers are. The added tech of all wheel steering and mild hybrid has to weigh something I’m sure.

Standard wheels size are 21 inches; 22 inches for upgrade. Now, if ours 20 inches are bad, I wonder how those 22 inches will do 🤔

My RS7 with 21” wheels and upgraded DRC sport suspension rides significantly better than my W212 on 19s (and the W212 rides better than the W213).

Interesting, I may look into one of the Audis. If the ride is not better than the E63 AMG though probably not interested, I wish they didn't use the 21's. Who knows the suspension my be such that they ride a lot better. To eCambell did they give you any idea on the price? Do they have adaptive cruise similar to the MB? Any other details? I really did not like my E63 Wagon all that much and hate to make another mistake without driving a car I'm interested in like I did with my E63Amg It's crazy because I really liked my 2012 E63 wagon. Just did not like the road manners of my 2018 nor the ride nor the really slow throttle response and the jerky trans and the threat of the check engine light issue or the diff issue plus had a rear vibration I could not seem to get rid of, I dunno maybe I just got a lemon. I do really like my E450 Wagon and may just end up with that long term, so far 16K miles on it since October and have been very happy with the car.

I’ll echo chiro’s sentiment that my 21” wheels on my S7 rode a lot cushier than my 20” wheels on the AMG. I got used to the AMG now and it is better once you set the right PSI but it’s still vastly different. The AMG also handles a lot, a lot better with very minimal body roll and pitch and squat. It’s all a trade off. I did cringe at the prospect of 22”s however. Those would get ruined here in Minnesota in one year.

My 21's on my 2017 RS7 compared the same to the E63S. The RS7 even with my DRC was much more compliant on rough roads--- while tire diameter and profiles do make a difference in comfort; clearly the AMG suspension and "tautness" defines its rock solid and bone jarring feel at times. The Air Body Control system is brilliant on perfect roads as you said with hardly any roll but dam that thing can thud on on the smallest of bumps.

Interesting.

FWIW I drove my 2020 R8 from florida to California. Other than a speeding ticket in Texas i did not deserve the trip was good....oh and the car did develop a slight right push and I ended in Vegas for 3 days...

I am number two on the list at my dealership and they have preorders for 34...looks like the run of 500 will sell out pretty quick.

E63 AMG Estate
My lease is up in 2021 so will be looking at this but disappointed it’s not faster than the E63 and I am not as keen on the back end as the old one.
