is there a way to know how many cars came to the US of a certain spec? i have a wagon, and know there are not a ton of them, got to be a website somewhere to do this.

I'm guessing that there are so many possible permutations given all the option packages plus individual options, that there are few cars spec'd out exactly the same.Originally Posted by David Bogle

I'm guessing that the majority aren't "loaded".
Last year one of the guys on the forum who had access to the Mercedes system said that at that time there were only 5 sedans coming into the US that had MSRPs over $140 k.
Most of the cars I've seen at dealerships and general looking about had stickers coming in at mid teens to low $120 k.
One of the reasons I went with the European delivery was so that I could choose my own options and make sure I got what I wanted. Ticked most things except the Carbon Fiber engine cover, Carbon Fiber mirrors and rear spoiler, and rear passenger seat climate controls. Figured unlike the mini-van the car is not that big so the rear seat would be pretty much at the same temp as us up front, plus one less thing for the girls to fight about.
At the time I ordered my car the DOG did not yet list prices so I just check off the times and said they'll cost what they cost. In the end it came in at $141,860, but after ED discounts was $133 k.
For a time back in 2017 a number of folks were posting their invoices so we could all figure out what the various options and associated prices were, but now that the car's been out for a while I haven't seen many posted. Mine's up there somewhere on an old post.
But as E63Wagen said, a lot of permutations so probably not too many just the same but may be a fair number that are close, depending upon where your car is on the median price curve.
