Weird vibrations not good ones

Driving a 2019 sedan. When it’s nice and warm there is a lumpy cam type of vibration that can be felt in the seat of my pants as well as wife in passenger seat has remarked same. It’s been in the oil level was checked and transmission updated and engine mounts are fine and no misfires or dtc’s. I even had a chance to go out for an extended drive with an AMG tech who happened to be here from Germany while my car was in service. As usual the car made no vibrations. A day later and they are back. They are intermittent and sometimes they are better then other times and sometimes no vibrations at all. BTW the vibrations are only felt at idle sitting at a light or stop sign.

Anyone have any ideas or suffer from a similar scenario? Help please. Thanks!

Hey - I just bought a 2019 with 300 miles on it, having the same issue. Mostly when in Comfort and Sport which I could imagine is because with Sport+ and Race the mounts are tighter and the exhaust vibration will also drone it out a bit - but i still hear it. Sounds like something with the engine internals in my opinion as a drier not mechanic... I'm worried in my case because the car isn't past the break-in period. I feel your pain, it hasn't been every time and all a dealer will say is bring it in... blah blah.

This could be the car running in 4 cylinder mode. Switch off the auto start stop and it should go away.

It's the nature of this motor. I notice it the "lumpy" idle especially when the motor is cold.
