E63 S Wagon vs. RS6 Avant

- I hate those wheels. Not a fan of directional wheels in general, those in particular.
- It looks higher off the ground, especially in the back with a higher belt line and load floor. (more allroad-ish than wagon)
- The higher belt line leads to less greenhouse / poorer visibility (again - feels more SUV like)
- I suspect the styling will blend better in something other than Arrest me Red (although one of the press cars of the new E63 wagon was red [C&D article, perhaps?] and I LOVED it in that color)
- Benz wins the interior, which is usually a high bar
And overall - the best news is that AoA FINALLY thought it was right to being this car into the states. Wagons are way under represented in the auto world, and perhaps the newer generation isn't as stigmatized about wagons as some of the baby boomers / Gen Xers are, and will be more willing to embrace them again.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
2015 Audi RS7 $127k new traded it in 2016 for $85k = $42k depreciation..
Never believe those that haven't done it in the real world. If you're not gonna keep it, lease it..
Here is the best combo...
My wife's Allroad and my E63s wagon..

Bought a 2012 R8 V10 in 2013 new for 140k new, sold it a year later for 124k
Bought a 2017 R8 V10 in 2017 new for 165k new, sold it 18 months later for 130k
Bought a new RS7 for 114k in 2014- sold it for for 104k 12 months later.
Its about the starting point with Audi or any brand for that matter, all my deals were triple net of holdback due to factory connects. But yes Audi and Benz/AMG are soft as goose crap. Only my C63BS has been a keeper and even that was soft in the first 12-18 months. I wont even list my quick sale losses on Benz (the worst was a CL65 LOL).

in Canada, I was told each dealer will get like 10 RS6 Avant per yr at most. They will take your deposit, ranging from $2000 - $5000.

Is Audi learning from others like the G63 to create artificial demand and increased pricing.

My deposit was to assure I have an allocation reserved at my dealership. From what I was recently told they’ve now taken 6 deposits but don’t know how many cars they will actually get.
