Hey Guys,

just turned 2k miles on my new E63s and periodically, maybe twice a week , ill get high revs on a start up and when I say high revs I mean in the 4k range. It will jump up there for a second or two then lower down to 3k then down to 1500 for a few seconds before sitting at idle. From what I noticed its usually when the car is some what warm. Has anyone experienced this or any reasoning as to why would be happening?

A couple other people have experienced this issue. I believe at least one case was because of a leaking injector/s:

Thank you very much! I'll be sure to mention it when I bring it in Saturday for differential oil change

Good luck buddy! I traded my 19 E63s in because of it constantly being in the shop.

Either creaks/rattles, high revs on startup, the high end sound system's amp blew, jerky shifts, etc.

Could not take it anymore. Amazing car yes, fast yes, but just got to be too much.
