Former Vendor of MBWorld
Its 8k for the custom paint, plus another $2k? for "special order" so its about 10k from MBUSA.. adds another 6-8 weeks to the builds also...
Have a matte grey wagon for inventory coming in..will try and get pics

I think its a $7.5k option, and you have to pay a $3,000 "custom order fee". We skipped it after weighing those additional costs and still wanting to have it wrapped..

I think I've mentioned this, but I really like the lack of night package with those wheels. I was tempted and still think about if I should have done that on mine, since I inherited a slight classy-pagoda vibe with the color anyhow. Very nice.

here's mine not sure if I posted here before.
For anyone consider Selenite Magno grey in matt finish, do yourself a favor and wrapped the entire car in stealth clear to protect against scratches while keeping the awesome look and finish of the paint. Worth every penny imo

I came across this pic of these two Saab wagons. That horizontal chrome strip looked familiar.
P.S. I wish Saab was still around...maybe with a hot hatch WRC entry or something like that.

Its the OEM Mercedes box 400. Fits my 1.6m snowboard with a bit room to spare definitely would of liked a longer box since my taller friends skis were too long, but can't complaint since they were able to give it to me fairly cheap along with the racks for free.

Already posted my wagon in here, but figured I'm allowed another one since I got new wheels.
Also, just saw the post about the Arabian Grey loaner wagon at Beverly Hills MB. That is most definitely my order, which I placed back in June but then backed out of since the salesperson was incapable of getting the order right, missing things like night package (as you can see in the photo – with that color the chrome doesn't work in my opinion), performance seats, alcantara headliner, white CF instead of dark, etc. The list of errors and omissions went on and on, and after sending very detailed order notes 3 times(!), including PDFs I created with actual codes from the DOG, I was so frustrated by the carelessness and disinterest that I told them to go screw. I had purchased my previous wagon from them, so I was really bummed out by the lack of attention to detail and truly pathetic customer service, particularly on a special order at this price point. The General Manager reached out to try and fix the situation, but I was done and ended up taking my business to AMG Downtown LA, since they had an already built order that had been abandoned by another person, which was spec'd exactly like I wanted it – minus the special order color of course. In retrospect, I am glad I ended up with the Selenite Magno... it's a more versatile color in my opinion, although I still love the Arabian Grey.
As a side-note, MB Beverly Hills' Service Department is fantastic – truly the best I've experienced in my 25+ years of car ownership – and I continue to have my wagon serviced there. Perhaps next time I'll ask for the Arabian Grey loaner, so I can drive what might have been for a day or two.

This is fairly light work for the cargo area (considering I had a lime tree back there last week but forgot to take a pic), regardless I was happy to get out and grab some honey-do materials for the week at home ahead:

I'm lovin' your new wheels. And I feel like I gotta get those exhaust tips. Far cooler looking than the S tips IMO.
I've had a number of tailgate meals and bought the fold-down cover just to keep the pants clean in case the bumper is not.
Be well.

E53 Estate Wagon in USA
Maybe not the right thread to post this question, I've written MB USA to ask about availability of E53 Estate Wagon in the USA. I expected an apology and redirect to the E63 Estate Wagon, and I was really surprised to receive an email that E53 Estate Wagon will be released in 3rd quarter 2020, might have some slight delay due to temporary factory closure (Covid-19) and instructing me to reach out to my local dealer to proceed. There hasn't been any official press release to back this up, anyone able to confirm MB USA is going to bring the E53 Estate Wagon to the USA? It never made sense that they didn't since it's sold in Canada. Thanks!
