Hey all -- bought a CPO 2017 W213 ten days ago from fairly local dealer, it has the factory option 20" staggered wheel setup pictured below.
In my inspection I noticed the dealer had done some minor wheel refinishing on the rears. Not what I would consider a big deal, after all the car had been on the road for two years.
I looked up close this weekend and the clear coat was starting to fail on the interior painted surfaces wheels, a couple of nickel-sized chunks fell off including some small portions of the black paint.
This tells me the repair was not allowed to fully cure properly before I took possession of the car.
I know that legally, the dealer is not obliged to do anything for me whatsoever, but I intend to ask them anyhow. Do you think that they will take care of me?
