E63s gearbox issues
Hi guys, I have 2017 e63s that I’m having some issues with. Basically I have a large jolt between 1-2 4-5 gears, sometimes in traffic it’s horrendous and almost as if the gearbox is about to jump away from the engine. I’ve read of a few issues with the 9g gearbox and after it went in last week Mercedes claimed my issue was down to my ghost imobiliser (had it removed the day I got it back and still have the issue) no doubt merc won’t pay for it to be put back on!! Has anyone had a similar experience??

This has been covered so many times before. Yes it happens. No there isn't a fix. It's "normal" based on their v8 biturbo engines. I recommend checking out the other thread here titled "Extremely rough transmission engagement"
