Dyno two wheel vs. four wheel
I got my e63s dynoed, and while they were running it, it looked like all four wheels were running, which makes sense as its all wheel drive. It came back with like 400 hp, and I said there is no way that's right. Also , when the wheels we're coming to a stop , there was an awful grinding shrieking sound, which I just attributed to the machine for some reason. They assured me those were normal numbers for that car, but there was no way that made any sense. They ended up calling someone, and realizing that the car went into two wheel drive, so it was having to push the front rollers, as the rollers are linked together. That made sense that the numbers were so low to me. They unlink the rollers, and just ran rear-wheel-drive, and the numbers made much more sense. I'm wondering though is there any way that could have damaged something, running it two wheel drive but with both sets of rollers active. That grinding noise really scared me, but maybe it was just the machine, I don't know. Now when I come to a stop, I have a little bit of a squeak, sounds like the brakes. There was no squeak before I brought the car in. Thoughts?
Thanks!
