I bought an E53
I love this car and apparently it’s the only green 2020 they’re ever going to make. I had to order it but the wait was worth it. There’s everything I want in this car and more.

I have a 2019 E53 convertible, came from a 2015 650IX convertible. The listed 0-60 times are identical. The ride and handling give the nod to the Benz. The interior room, big advantage to the Benz. There are lots of cars, in the "class" that are faster (A7, M5, etc), but overall, I'm happy with my choice, 19,000 miles into ownership

Looks nice! Couldn't see the green until the last couple of pics, but wow, very nice. Really cool to see MB's in colors other than black, white and grey.....oh and yellow.......can't stand yellow cars LOL!
Any plans for the future? Wheels? Aero parts etc?

I’ve tuned a lot of cars over 400hp but this car is well sorted out of the box. It’s exactly what I wanted performance, handling, and technology wise. My daily is a diesel tuck so it’s nice to have the same level of torque under *** in a car.

My only plans are to change the rims. I’m not a huge fan of AMG rims after we put 6 rims on my wife’s AMG.

Was your wife’s a 53 as well, or a 43? They don’t come with forged wheels.

I find it hard to believe that an A7 is faster than the E53. S7 maybe. RS7 most certainly. Like the looks of them, though, came fairly close to getting one.

I stand corrected, the S7 is what I meant. The base A7, not so quick. Then again, neither is the base E class

Yes, I suspect that 0-60 times can be best taken with an hourglass - or maybe a sundial, or, as C&D said..."a three day clock"....
That S7, and even the S5 Sportback seemed like good fun.
