Renntech Exhaust Module and Blow Off Valve Adapters - Yes or No?

I am considering adding the Renntech exhaust module and/or the Renntech blow off valve adapters to my 2019 E63S. Definitely doing the tune and BMC filter.

Does anybody have experience with these modifications and if they do what were their results and satisfaction? Are they worth the money? I understand they are not performance-enhancing mods but sound-enhancing ones.

I do find the car is much much quieter and less aggressive sounding than my now-departed 2015 W212 E63S. On that car I had the full Renntech tune and Renntech sport mufflers.

I normally drive in an individual setting which keeps the valves in the exhaust set to what it calls “powerful” or loud.

I sort of think if I really want the mean and aggressive exhaust noise I need to get the downpipes.

I've read a lot about the Exhaust module for the W213 E63 and have done this mod on a different car in the past. What I can say (IMO) is that this is a "customer request mod" meaning Renntech didn't make the initial decision to build this product since they would be focused on the tune and downpipe which are true performance parts and also the aero items which help for top speed runs etc. This exhaust mod just overrides what Mercedes and the AMG engineers have built for the dynamic setting which really set this car apart from others. It can be a cruiser for long road trips and everyday activities and then with a click of a knob turn into a beast. I think this mod would be a total waste of money, but that is my opinion. I would put the money towards the tune, DP, and hold off on the BMC until you hit 15-20K miles when the filter may need to be replaced, otherwise the stock filters are more than fine. There are a small number of companies that are building cold air boxes for the 5.5, 4.6 and maybe even the 4.0l the which will dramatically change the sound - but those CAI's have been proved to change the power output negatively with heat soak. The stock airbox setup is superior.

My opinion, find another focus to cure the MOD ITCH. Believe me, I just bought a 2019 E63 on Saturday and I'm back on this forum trying to find what Mods I want to do to an otherwise perfect car. For the Merc I traded in a 2018 Porsche 911 4S with Sharkwerks exhaust and that car was loud. This is my 4th Mercedes so I'm happy to be back home.

From my perspective of modifying every car I've owned (over 20) AND after trolling tons of Youtube videos and MBWorld forums I am going to do the following, in this order:

(Waiting until Cyber Monday for the sales discounts at Renntech of course)
  1. Renntech Lowering Module
  2. Renntech Tune (I've had friends with issues with Weistec so I'm staying with Renntech)
  3. Renntech BOV
  4. Renntech "Powered by Renntech Emblem"
  5. Xpel Stealth PPF
  6. Quartz Ceramic Coating on Wheels/Calipers
  7. Leave the car alone

Need to do more research for Downpipes. Value vs. Risk... I've had some friends have issues with downpipes, and I would really like to know the HP/TQ and Sound difference to risk a bad installation which is always a risk.
