Modding My 2019 E63S Done - Includes Full XPel Stealth Wrap Turning Car Matte White
So for the past three weeks the car has been at Detailing Dynamics in Mineola, NY getting mods done.
And here is the finished product.
Mods are:
RENNtech tune with BMC filters - raises power to 773 horsepower and torque to 778 lbs-ft at crank and lowers 0 to 60
time to 2.79 second and 1/4 mile to 10.88 seconds at 128.72 mph trap speed (Renntech claims I have not dynoed the car yet).
Full Xpel Stealth wrap (turns car exterior from glossy paint to matte).
All chrome exterior trim (grill, side and rear badging, rear chrome strip and door handles) changed to gloss black with red accents in rear badging and darken the orange license plates with a smoke cover.
Wheels changed from silver to gloss black.
AL Proirity Laser Jammers (front and rear)
Xpel Prime XR Plus 40 percent tints on side and rear Windows.
ClearPlex
Front and rear BlackVue dash cams
Hard wire radar detector power
Kuda and ProClip iPhone mount
Wrapped piano black Center console in Xpel to present known scratching issue
There are additional mods I considered but did not do at this time including downpipes with high flow cats (for more sound), integrated/hidden radar detector and stereo upgrade. Not considering a turbo upgrade to this as it is my daily driver.
I am using the 19 inch HREs from my 2015 E63S as my winter wheels and they were changed from polished aluminum to gloss black. Love these HRE wheels but 19s seemed too small for summer wheels on this car.
As always, thanks a million to Eddie Kehaian, Matt Zakarian and their hardworking staff at Detailing Dynamics for transforming the car and to SIlver Star Motors' Liri Ansari for a great deal.

Anyway, looking good!

I hadn't washed the car in at least a week before the shoot. The matte finish really hides the dirt and bugs in a way glossy paint/finish does not.
The HREs from my 2015 E63S are now turned gloss black (from polished aluminum) but I’m using them for the winter set because they are only 19 inches and they just look too small on the car for summer use - Especially with their three-piece design that makes their diameter look smaller than 19 inches.
I’m absolutely thrilled with the work that Detailing Dynamics did to transform my car. This is about the fourth or fifth car I’ve taken to them for this kind of work and they’ve always done a fantastic job. I really didn’t want to buy white but I got such a great deal and I love the way the car looks with the transformation.

This should not be a close question - buy the Michelin Pilot Alpin 5s. I had the Sottos on my last E3S. They are crap - poor snow traction and will bubble or crack and spring a leak over even modest potholes. The Pilot Alpin 4s on my 2014 911 Turbo S were much better winter tires more resistant to pothole impacts and better snow traction
