Lane keep and new steering wheel

I recently ordered a new OEM steering wheel for my 2018 E63 wagon (Dinamica on the old one was getting yucky).

Unfortunately I accidentally specced it without lane-keep assist. Now, I never actually use lane-keeping because it’s obviously useless, so maybe I’m ok... But I’m wondering if not having the steering wheel with the lane keep capability will also impact other useful features (like Distronic, and the rest of the driver assistance package).

Does anyone happen to know the answer to this question?

thanks!

The lane keeping assist button is on the left side of the dash, not the steering wheel. So, trying to understand which button(s) are missing on your wheel.

it’s not the button— it’s the support for the haptic vibration feedback that’s missing.

There's haptic vibration in our steering wheels?

Yes, for cars come with lane keep assist, steering wheel will vibrate when tires cross the lane lines.

I guess I notice the brake grabbing more than any wheel input. I keep mine turned off because it is so intrusive.
