2019 E63 AMGS Wagon -from back it sounds likes a low pitched motor sound, up to 10s
Greetings

Last 2 weeks there has been a low pitched humming sound, from the rear...multiple times for 10-15 secs. Low bass tone sound

Haven’t had a trip longer than 20 mins so cannot say if it goes away.

Any thoughts, guesses appreciated

Good ideas...some kind of motor for sure...it sounds like it’s constantly trying to find some re-equilibrium.

very annoying...

go fast grocery getter wagon
maybe place your cell phone in the undercovered trunk where the air compressor is and record it for a few minutes time and see if it can be identified

Diagnosed : faulty right rear air compressor- getting replaced!
