Do you guys know what option gets you the UV tinted windscreen?
In the configurator I can't seem to find anything that impacts the windscreen, I can't imagine it's the acoustic package?

This is what I mean:
It is the Acoustic package. Your looking at the infrared interlayer in the windshield.
Wonder if we contact insurance for windshield replacement if this is something we can order from MB?
The Acoustic Comfort package is offered in a number of different MB models. I am pretty sure most windshield replacement companies will have the correct replacement windshield. That said, I would go to my dealer to have any repaired or replaced if damaged. In Florida, where I am at, replacement is covered by insurance with no deductible.

Even when I had my C63S, I told State Farm that I wanted an OEM glass and they approved it for the Mercedes to replace the windshield.
But if my car wasn't ordered with it, I wondering if MB is willing to upgrade it to that if I where to claim from State Farm as well

When I had to get a replacement front windshield, I went with OEM Mercedes glass. Autobahn I3 40% ceramic film. This gave me total solar energy rejection 60%, Infrared rejection 93%, UV rejection 99%. In addition there is very good glare rejection and I don't need sunglasses. To protect the front, I went with Clearplex coated with Gtechniq Halo ceramic coating.
