2018 chassis settings

Hi all!

I just picked up a 2018 E43 (coming from a 2017), and it seems that you can no longer adjust steering and suspension separately, as you could on the 2017. Is that the case, or am I missing something? Any other changes from 2017 that I should know about?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you can if you go into "Individual Settings". You can change those within the dynamic select menu on the center screen. It's a little different from the 2017's that just had the physical buttons on the center console. Check it out in your owners manual if unsure. When you are in the individual setting you see a purple logo come up within the mode screen in your speedometer screen. Comfort is Blue and Eco is green.

Hmm, I do see the settings—the issue is that there doesn’t seem to be separate options for steering and suspension—they’re now bundled together. So in the past I could have a soft ride with heavy steering, and now I have to soften/tighten both the shocks and the steering in unison.

Maybe it’s different on the e43amg. With both my 2019 e450 and my 2018 s560 you go to settings and then dynamic select settings. I think it’s right below the seat settings and on that screen allows you to adjust steering suspension and engine for whatever you want under the individual mode. Maybe I misguided you in the above post. If you just go to the individual mode with the dynamic select switch there is no provision to adjust the mode in that section. You need to go to the vehicle settings menu. There is also a bid to check if you want the different modes to flash up on the mid screen every time you toggle the dynamic select switch between modes.
