Cylinder scratch
I purchased an almost unused E63S Edition 1 with only 25000km after big checkup at the dealer. According to the dealer and previous owner the car did not have any problem before big checkup (replaced oil, spark plugs etc.).
One day after purchase/big checkup I tried the sport + mode and after acceleration the car showed CEL, lost power and started to vibrate a lot. It went to the dealer and they refused to do anything. They just reset CEL and told me to drive off entire remaining 3/4 of the fuel tank and try it with new gas. They told me it was acting weird because of using RON95 instead of RON100 gas. I drove it off, driven almost 1000 km in two days and the CEL did show up several times (went twice to emergency service to reset it).
I have stated in my service papers I should drive off entire gas tank. I drove it off to service on Monday and today they told me that the coil was the issue but they found out some smudge 3 to 4cm thick and 10cm long inside the cylinder which was having misfire due to coil.
The dealer is trying to give me the car back with possibly scratched cylinder wall (what do they mean by "smudge" on wall?) because the car acts like nothing has happened.
What does it mean for the long term? Would you accept it? What would you do?
Thank you

They can and will just say "yep it passes" and then if there any issues that aren't undeniably a warranty issue, they will claim 0 responsibility.
It does sound like this is a warranty issue though. As long as the car is under warranty, you should be covered, just be as annoying as possible to them
It has some marks from the piston which are centralized at the bottom and several lines going all around straight up. They does not look like scratches for me, maybe some part of piston rubbing against wall? They sent them to Daimler and are awaiting response what to do.
They are still pressuring to pick it up because the car went more than 200km/h (more I did not want to go, the car would probably go higher if I wanted to) and did not show any CEL. But for me the car still feels a little bit less "aggressive" and more like sleeping... It still has a little shaking and vibrations here and there when driving at slower speeds (going slowly up from 40 to 60km/h) and feels like the reaction is not instant like it was. First time it felt like a rocket, right now the "rocket" start is somehow slower.
Could it be the cylinder? Should they try to measure cylinder compression? Or maybe launch control and measure time?
