Claimed 2.8 second 0 to 60 time for 2021 E63s
Went looking at the GLC 250 for my daughter yesterday and the GLC / GLE for my wife who is considering retiring the minivan now that the kids are essentially done with school. Spent the afternoon watching various comparisons and drive videos on YouTube. After watching one of the videos my daughter asked me about the 0 to 60 time for the E63s and I told her I thought it was 3.3 s or maybe 3.1 s. She looked it up and said, no it's 2.8 s. I said no that's got to be a mistake, but she showed me the article. Interestingly the video associated with the article shows a measured 3.3 s 0 to 60 time.
This was for the 2021 model. I hadn't heard that they've gotten any faster and the HP/torque figures are still the same. Has anyone else heard about this improved time. Like maybe Mercedes upped the allowable torque to the wheels or something.

The fastest time I have seen is Car and Driver at 3.0 seconds, and I thought that was optimistic. I have read anywhere from 3.1 to 3.4, but in either case, plenty quick for me.
