E43 vs. E63 transmission and holding up to a tune

Can anyone confirm if the transmission in a 2017 E43 is the same as a 2017+ E63? I'm looking at tunes for a friend's 2017 E43 and trying to figure out which tune to go with in terms of power output. From what I have been able to find, the 4-matic E43 uses the 9G-Tronic transmission that is rated up to 516lb.ft. of torque (per wikipedia). The hotter tune we are looking at has 450HP/520TQ, but we are concerned about long term reliabilty. It's a daily driver vehicle that he would like to have a little more fun with, but doesn't want to grenade the motor or transmission down the line with a tune that is too hot. My thought (perhaps incorrect) is that if the trans is the same between the E43 and E63 then it should be able to hold up to the hotter tune without any issues. Thoughts, experiences, and info on actual applications would be appreciated. Thanks.

CLS400 4Matic EC Tuned
I'm pretty sure the 9 speed transmission will have 0 problem with the 520 pound feet. I've got a CLS400 with the 7G Tronic and the 550 owners are pushing over 700 pound feet, so I don't see a reason as to why a newer transmission would be able to handle less torque/be less reliable. Have you tuned the car yet?
