2018 E63s spare tire options???
Hey guys.... I am new to the E63s world and I have a long road trip planned and the thought of not having a backup spare tire is not sitting well with me. I have looked online and found a company that sells them but they are back ordered. I know the sizes are different front to back as far as width and offset but I'm curious If I carrier a full size spare for the front if I could also use that in the back incase of a flat. I have 2 full sets of E63 factory 20s so i thought i could just carry a front rim and tire but if it won't work in the rear without messing something up then that's useless to me. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Are you traveling somewhere without roadside assistance?
In addition to the tire fix-it can I carry a plug kit. These would cover most of the typical flats you'd expect from the odd screw or nail.
That said, the one flat I have had in this car was due to a rock that cut the inner sidewall of my right rear tire while I was carving up Palomar Mountain. Full tilt boogie with rear end drifting nicely then suddenly the car snapped way sideways. Pretty much before I could apply corrections the car's traction and stability control cut power and more or less straightened out the car all by itself. This is why I don't drive with ESP disabled on the road . . .
The sidewall cut wasn't fixable and I had to wait a couple of hours for the free roadside service from Mercedes to send a flat bed car carrier way the heck outside of town to the mountain to come and get me, plus another couple of hours to get back to town to drop the car off at the dealership - which was closed on a Sunday.
So yeah, a mini spare would have been handy in this case, but in almost 50 years of street driving this is the only flat I've had that couldn't have been fixed by a plug/fix-it gunk.

I carry a rear wheel and tire in the trunk hoping that if I have a front flat, the rear wheel and tire will fit over the standard E63S AMG brake.
