E63 wheels on E53?

I am debating wheel spacers my 53, but I also am looking at snow tire/wheel combos etc, and tthought came to me that E63 wheels might fit and would open my options on Marketplace for used. Is the body and suspension the same?

By putting on an E63S or E63 wheel, your front will likely rub against suspension components. -24mm closer to suspension and 14mm extended outward. If you are to put a spacer on for the front, say 10mm, then now you would have 24mm extended outward which may rub against the wheel fender.

I found misleading info on what my OEM front offset is. Rear is 49 and front I found 43 or 20? Do you know the offset on OEM E63? Same car isnt it? With didferent motor? I can always remove my wheel and see what the rim says , just limited on time and cold weather is coming. All this starts with me searching for winter tires. Thanks for your thoughts. The spacer would only be for my OEM wheels , not E63.

The width of the wheel matters just as much as the offset.

E63 front 9.5 et25 265/35
E53 front 8.0 et20 245/35

the suspension setup is likely a bit more different for the e63 vs e53. Therefore, by taking a bigger/wider width wheel and mount onto e53, we just don’t know 100% if it will create major problem, esp. when the steering wheel is turn lock-to-lock.

Yes that is a big difference in width. I understand what you are saying. Very new to Mercedes and trying to figure it out.
