Can you check how many times a car has been launched in COMAND?
Is it possible to check how many times a car has been launched within COMAND? If not, how does one go about doing so?

No, not possible. You need diagnostic tools to read out the TCU. The transmission keeps track of it, but it's not readily accessible. For Audi and BMW there are relatively cheap phone apps you can buy to read out this stuff over the OBD-II port, but with MB/AMG you need more expensive diagnostic tools.
