Intakes worth it on this platform?

I came from the w205 c63s where the aftermarket intakes are generally not giving any gains on stock turbos, although its argued using them will drop less power at the end of rpm range. What's the consensus on intakes for this platform? I'm thinking about grabbing the blackboost intake setup as a friend has one available for me locally and at a discount. Also, id assume these open filter setups flow better but is that countered by them being open to the under hood temps/air? Has anyone compared IAT's with a setup like this versus factory enclosed filters?

there's no flow limitation on the stock intake box up to 800+whp. get drop in BMC filters for a bit more turbo sound

I have the blackboost intakes, but I got them mostly for sound regardless of all the aftermarket companies claims of gains. You might see some, but it is certainly more prone to heat soak over the OEM closed intake boxes.
The blackboost are much better at this than something like the Zacmotorports ones or copycats (VRP, etc.) any open filter by the turbo intakes will heat soak quickly skyrocket your IATs.

FWIW in cold weather, I did notice an improvement of .2 seconds in my 60-130 with the addition of the blackboost intakes. The only difference was blackboost intakes were added, previously ran stage 2 ECU, CPC, catless downpipes with stock intake boxes and K&N filters.

This is more the info I was looking for, I'm not sure if that 0.2 seconds is worth it to have a car that is likely pulling timing due to heat soak over the summer months and likely seeing no better (possibly less) gains. That and I also wonder about how much less small particulate those come filters versus the factory ones, I watched a pretry interesting video on YouTube covering this in depth.
