2021 E63s Wagon
21' AMG E63S with downpipes (youtube)

I just saw this clip and for me it´s the first one with the facelifted E63. The most impressive part is the sound. - The sound that I wish I had on my car. What is also interesting is that the guy explains why he thinks facelifted version makes more power stock than pre-face-lift. (turbos with ballbearing ... Don´t know what it is, but it is OK with me! :-) )

(Looked in the comments now for the clip and the car is also catless ... Which more explains the noise that it makes)

That after 60-130 is slow for a catless downpipe, ECU and CPC tuned car.

Your car did what.... low 7's?

Maybe they had a headwind. Tune could possibly need to adapt.

Isn't that a fairly slow stock time too? I haven't ran mine so I'm not sure, but aren't they easily a full second faster than the 9.8 stock that he said it ran. Maybe he meant to say 8.9?

Mine did mid to lows 9s stock in good weather (between 40 and 60 degrees)
I'm thinking these runs were done in 90 plus degree weather
Also where is the TCU tune? CPC tune is worth a lot on this car, for sure, but without TCU I don't see how he can put all the power down on the street (Dyno will show gains that may not translate to the street).

I also don't think the downpipes are worth much more than the drop in filter in power output. But that sound though....ridiculously good

You do have a valid point, the cpc especially does need time to adapt. Takes at least a 100 miles and a few start and stops for the cpc to open the taps fully
meaning this car could easily be in the 6s 60-130mph with more miles, better weather and a TCU tune. Wonder how much more the BB intake will drop times by on this car?

My car same mods did 7.22 on 93 octane.

This car did 7.83, I highly doubt its gonna make up that time due to “headwind” in florida and tune adapting. Maybe .2 difference at the most.

The car could be badly heat soaked, however….

LOL

I know where you are coming from and what you are saying , unfortunately that is true, most ME trollers have F#*ked up the reputation and they are faking their mods or numbers. However, you can check all my posts since I joined ( way before you did ) that I never hide anything and provide all information whenever I mod a car or do some enhancements or fixing factory stuff. ,and I can record a video for you showing my car that has nothing other than OBDii tuned ECU , I mentioned did the tune for me to anyone contacted me on Instagram, and I don't hide it. and I posted my dragy on the other thread.

Well, aside from Ali_E55 and his secret ME sauce ;-), I legit have my '18 E63s w/ ECU/TCU/CPC tune (no DP's, on Michelin PS4s) on straight 93 oct doing 60-130mph in 7.75s and 0-60 in 2.9s. I definitely don't claim to be the fastest out there, but just to compare with this guy's Stage II tune, seems to be pretty dismal results.

I was actually impressed with the dyno tuning and was wondering if that is more effective than the OTS tunes most of us have, but I guess not!

Did anyone catch that tires he was running? Maybe that was the issue?

no secret sauce, a very customized tune from a very good German tuner with 100% making sure everything else running perfectly in the car.

some stuff that will affect those cars in performance without CEL

- muffler flap
- one of the coolant pumps
- intake pipes
