Trading up my 2018 wagon
I have a stock E63 wagon with just over 40K miles. I use it as a daily but don't drive much so only put +/- 2K miles on it during my ownership, which is 12 months. I absolutely love the car and it hasn't given me a minute of trouble. Bought it CPO with extended warranty through April 2025. If they aren't making any more of these cars I'm thinking of trading this one for a 2020 or 2021 (I actually prefer the pre-facelift and have no issue with ride comfort) with much lower miles (sub-10K). Really I doubt I'll ever put more than 2-3K miles on the car each year, I only use it to drive the kids around on weekends so figure I can keep it in better shape for longer. Worth it?

I might get a 2020 for the steering wheel but that's about it. Right now the market is not in your favor, it is absolutely superheated.

absolutely no reason to move up unless you have a mediocre build.... steering wheel is tantalizing.... MBUX ... meh... ride quality...I never drive the car in comfort anyway.
