E 53 Eco Stop/Start module

Hello everyone. I am awaiting tot ale delivery of my new E 53 next month. I’ve been told there is a way to have the eco stop start remember the last setting so I don’t have to manually turn it off every time I drive it. Can anyone add links to any products they know of that will work for a 2022 E 53.

Thank you.

RJautomotive can do the coding for you. I just upgraded from an E450 coupe and would turn it off every time because it was not seamless and made the car shudder when it would restart. With the electric motor in the E53 it is so smooth you don't even know it's working unless you look at the dash. I don't turn it off anymore. You should be fine

There is a setting in the facelift W213 that was called something along the lines of "Prompt about last drive mode on next vehicle start". If this feature is off then the vehicle will default to comfort instead instead of asking, also, if you ignore the prompt it will just go in comfort mode (as it started in comfort mode, only when you press okay is when it switches to last drive mode before ignition off).

If you want the permanent solution, as mentioned in the previous post might be an option you might like.

Agreed. I never turn it off anymore, it’s seamless in the 48v hybrid cars.

I messed with that stop start all the time in my Rubicon. With my E53, don’t really notice it.
