2022 E53 Dash Cam Option Availablity?
Hi All,
My 2022 E53 build is scheduled for 09/2D/2022. The dealer told me I need to finalize the build soon as the factory will lock in the options/etc soon. It looks like I'll be getting most of what I wanted. Some of the options have now been made standard and other pieces dropped. One of the options I really want is the Dash Cam. I've been told that it's no longer available. I thought it was one of the requirements for adding the Track Pace option? And they told me that I do have Track Pace included.
One more fun issue: The dealer can no longer print out the full build sheet that I'm used to seeing. The one with standard equipment, options, along with pricing and sub options included in the packages. They can only print out the options list with no prices and no sub options included.

After having mine for over a year, I personally would skip it and get an aftermarket one (like alpine) that can turn on automatically every time you start the car and have access to the video via your cell phone.
The MB one is good and video quality fine, but you have to turn it on and that is a shame since so many other cars have it auto engage and even record 30 seconds prior if there is an attempted break in or something. Just my .02.
