275/30/21 fronts?

i don't know if any of you guys have tried to order tires lately but my size is back ordered for a month or so, so i'm curious if has anyone tried to fit a 275/30/21 tire on the front or a 265/35/21 on the front? aftermarket wheels of course.

If you opt 275/30/21, You would gain 2.45mm in ride height. Also, other ideal width of your front wheel would be 10 inches.

technically, when you go to 21 front, the correct size is 265/30/21

i agree but the tire stores keep saying that the load weight of that tire is not enough. what are your thoughts?

True. If the 265/30/21 tire has a < 99 load rating, then it’s not very ideal.

You have to find out the brand / model of the tire yo ensure it’s at least 99 load

Oem front (ps4s as example) comes with 99 load. A 96 load rating is 145lbs less support per front tire.

If you did end up with 275/30/21 98 load ratings, don’t forget to adjust the tire pressure as well to equate back to or near the factory suggested psi.

What would you suggest that number to be? I'm always wondering what to set my 21s at. I figured I should been running them a bit higher then I'd run 20s, but the shop said per square inch is per square inch no matter the size. I've been doing 42f/38r for no passengers on 265/30/31-305/25/21.

for that upsize to 21, I would also suggest 41f would be the absolute minimum, 42 f would be ideal ... (vs. 40-41 front on factory 20") which you already have set.

275/30/21 would be my choice if I was you

It will be 7.4mm taller than stock. But mainly because of your 21" wheel.
What size tire do you have in the rear? Balancing it out to get near the front to rear height difference would be good

305/25/21's currently, what would the rears have to be?

So the incorrect load tires I had, 265/230/21 on the front, are no longer. I now am running 285/30/21, load proper. I still had 305/25/21 on the rear, improper load also. Still wondering why Vossen would recommend improper load tires.

Wow you fitted 285/30/21 front on a 21x10 wheel? Any pics and rubbing assuming you are lowered as well.

Yep, no rubbing and I am lowered. I got the idea from ryandeez/ He said in the aftermarket wheels thread that he is running those with no issue. We have the same specs on our Vossen wheels. I will take some pictures and post them.

I pushed it a little by running 285s in the front, but I have zero rubbing and I'm lowered using the RENNtech Lowering Module. The fitment and look is exactly what I was hoping for. If you have any questions, let me know!

Ordered Michelin PS4S 325/25/21 for the rears to meet proper load as my 305/25/21 weren't doing it for the necessary load weight and discount tire wont install or sell me a replacement tire in that size.

285/30/21 (Front) and 325/25/21(rear). I had to use the module to raise it up quite a but from the setting I originally had in the rear.
