I just noticed a small chip in the plastic headlight lens cover on my car. Is there a bonding glue out there or is it a situation of replacing the just the lens?
I believe the unit is sealed and would have to be replaced as one complete unit. It is going to be ultra expensive if there is no repair solution. Parts alone is probably $3,000 US
I suggest to visit one of those windshield repair facility to see if there is a solution.

Although there is no OEM part for the headlight lens, there are some aftermarket solutions though.

Pretty much has to be replaced, but you can file a comprehensive insurance claim. I had a crack in my taillight not too long ago. Not exactly sure how it happened, but insurance paid for the replacement. I only have a $100 deductible for comprehensive claims, so that I don't have to pay a lot out of pocket for things I can't control. As for the headlights, mine are protected with PPF, so it's less likely to happen.
