Was driving my car today when i started hearing a loud grating sound when i accelerated from a stop sign. Sound was so loud everyone on the road was looking at me. Sounded like something had come loose around the front left suspension/ tire area. parked, got out of the car to look and i saw nothing sticking out from the car or fallen off from the car. I got in the car and drove it again and the sound did not continue. Ride comfort felt a bit off but since i was close to the house i drove there, parked and got roadside assistance to come tow the car. Did not want to make problem worse. Does anyone know what could be the problem? This is a new car with only 600 miles on it.

So saw the dealer today and we couldnt reproduce the noise. Service guy said it may have been a pebble caught in the rotors or something. Took the car back and i will be monitoring it.

Sounds like a pebble caught between the rotor and heat shield or something in that apparatus
