Roof rails color?
Hi all,
I mentioned before that the shipper damaged my roof rails, and refuses to take responsibility. So I either have to order new roof rails ($600 a pop, and 3 month wait), or fix them myself. Upon a closer examination of the damage, it doesn't seem like the rails are bent in any way, it just seems like the primer was scraped off, which makes it look worse than it is. So I think ill try to fix it. Two questions, what is the color of roof rails (wagon, with amg night package)? How hard is it to take off the rails?

Do you intend to use the roof rails, i.e. attach crossbars to them? If no, then I don't see a problem with wrapping them. If yes, then I'm not sure the wrap would handle being compressed/stressed that well...

I do have a bicycle rack that I'd like to use, and furthermore i dont' want to limit myself in using the bars. I think just painting them should be fine. I'm thinking of doing the VHT paint, as its sturdy, but I'm not sure which one to choose to match the color (i don't want to paint the whole thing, just about a foot of it).
