2021 Wagon - 3489 Miles

New to being able to post something legit. Transport dropped to me Wednesday and I’m still struggling to grasp how ridiculous this car is.
Can’t say enough about the value of this forum/platform.
Thanks to all of you who’ve added value, knowledge and insights.

I know, eh?
It does 98% of what any exotic can do and fits 5 people and their luggage.
Congrats!

Finally getting closer to journey back East after taking care of issues with 20-year NM home. After new Roof and AC/Heater combo roof unit, figured needed protection on Wagon before Road Trip to GA, VA, and metro NYC area. Epic triple digit record temperatures are finally behind us. When return will have Service B performed. Then detail and ceramic coat black 2012 Ducati in 2024 since it is a keeper like my V8s.
As of Thursday have 15,900 miles on my Wagon. Had third Service A performed along with a Coolant Flush in Athens GA. May/June 2024 will perform first Service B in ABQ after I get back to New Mexico.

Ride back to GA residence from Reston VA was fun until got on I-85 after making great time on I-66/81/77. I-77 going downhill towards 485 Loop around Charlotte early on Saturday Morning was Epic! Once on 85 South Holiday traffic was brutal plus haters blocked me from getting in on left Fast Lane. With my Wagon fully loaded with Luggage, Real Spare & Jack, and other stuff wife won't let me bring inside the house, had to put car in S+ to confidently squeeze into the Fast Lane without cutting folk off...lol. Utilized back seat for larger rolling luggage piece, Duffle bag, 5.11 versatile backpack, and cooler. Just stopped once for Gas and a Break on I-81 just before cutoff to 77. Range was amazing with TTV8. Even after fill up Range to Empty almost approached 500-miles in S setting!

Exited I-85 at Commerce GA to avoid road construction that had encountered on trip North after Thanksgiving. Drove thru Jefferson and decompressed on roads with posted limits of 45mph. 9-hours not to shabby for scenic trip thru the Mountains before the Rain and Flooding hit the East Coast on Sunday/Monday. Have AMG Wagon, Will Travel.

Even though Athens MB has an unsold 2023 FE Wagon on showroom floor now for $170K, everyone in Service gave me thumbs up on my Badge Delete Spec that was freshly detailed with foam cannon just days earlier. Service Advisor told me to keep it past May 2025. No oil leaks were found...later that Evening Son returned from Georgia Tech First Semester with Covid and a 3.0 GPA. Discrete Mathematics was a tough one.

Took delivery 12/2021 with 11 miles on the clock. Currently, the wagon has approx. 6600 miles and is parked. Took delivery of the CT5 Blackwing 09/ 2023 and haven’t driven the wagon since, other than my service B. Which was 800.00 beaners. Ouch!! I wasn’t willing to take a premium haircut just yet, as the value of the wagon is gone south. The wagon is just ok, but the Caddy is plain awesome!!! Not sure what I will do with the wagon. Maybe, somewhere down the line it might not hurt so bad ($$$) when it finds a new home.

I've been back in New Mexico since February 2024. Waiting on CPA to complete Taxes for two states and the feds then will head back to Athens, GA Residence.

Over the weekend participated in a Car Show hosted by my Local PPF and Ceramic Coating Detailer. Car alarm was activated twice by the DJ and the Metro Booming Bass from his Speakers on Stage. Near end of the Showtime noticed a bearded Gentleman in an Apron that I assumed was just a Cook for the BBQ under the Tent nearby. Found out later he was an Aerospace Professional who just got layoff from Virgin Galactic locally and at Spaceport America North of town. He tried to order the RS6 Avant at one point but now is unloading his fleet of high performance cars to downsize. Think he mentioned selling his AMG CLA 45.

He had a question about my Badge Delete Spec on my 2021 AMG Wagon. Was curious if I had deleted the badging myself but told him that the Badge Delete was performed at the Factory. He became ecstatic and then asked to see the signature of my AMG Engine Builder under the hood. That made his Day since most of the cars in the show were customized Mopar Scatpacks, Hellcats, and Demons. But all he saw was my AMG...lol

Gave him a few revs in Race Mode as the C8 Corvettes and Jaguar F Type that were blocking my exit from the Show Moved Out. Glad that I provided another Car Nutt some joy...he said that he would remain local and possibly work on Border Patrol Helicopters. I told him not to overlook the Border Patrol Predator Drones as well...

Hmmm. Thought I had posted...

Pardon the dirty car. Summer shoes = oem AMG.

Cleaned wheels with Koch Chemie - Magic Wheel cleaner. Great wheel cleaner, stinks really bad. Then dressed tires with Koch Chemie plastar.

Just had B service done 3 weeks ago. Nothing of note. CCB still have lots of life left.

Current mileage = 137,054. Getting around 21 Mpg avg.

Is that a Nardo wrap or the Manufacture one off? I only ask because I had secured the Manufacture one and had it snaked from me. Always wondered where the car went after that. My Moby Dick!

2021 AMG E63s Wagon
I came, I saw, I surrendered

18,445 miles

Traded my 2021 AMG Wagon this afternoon! Audi of Tyson's Corner in Virginia wanted to buy my $120K Badge Delete Spec for $95K last month. Daughter lives nearby in Reston. Local Dealership in Southern NM matched that offer which gave me $23,000 in equity for a generic 2024 Ford Pickup. Was trying to put money down on Lexus GX 550 Overland SUV. ATL area dealers have long waiting lists and $1000 puts you in the Queue. Will now wait until after May 2026 when Son graduates GA Tech to get the proper spec GX 550 Overland. Our new home outside of Athens has an enormous yard front and back. Will give wife 2024 Maverick XL AWD 2.0T to support her love of gardening and for trips to the Dump to dispose of the weekly cut grass as she now makes the Property her own. Little crew cab pickup also tows 4000lbs. Still have Ducati and Chevy SS for my need for Speed...CIAO TONY!

Good move! I thought that you were going to go EV in 2026 and sell the guns and the other cars and just cut the lawn?

It's not 2026 yet...If sell NM home will have to sell all my weapons. Wife is from a War Zone and will not allow me to keep guns inside the house. While was in GA between Thanksgiving to February 2024 kept my 2 pistols in Gun Safe in rear of AMG Wagon within ID of the OE front Wheel/Tire that used for a real spare on my 1500-mile Treks across Texas to Georgia. Until that Sale next vehicle will be a 2026 Lexus GX 550 Overtrail where I can carry a Hornady gun locker that fits 3 ARs or Shotguns. My Ruger American Ranch in 7.62 x 39mm, Thompson Center Bolt Action in 6.5 Creedmoor, and Henry Big Boy Model X chambered for 44 Magnum would also fit for Hunting Trips to Augusta GA. College buddy who works at Nuclear Plants in the area has Private Land just across the SC border - great for Hunting Deer. Would not leave any of my prized weapons with total value over $2500 in any parked vehicle since it could be stolen with the Gun Safe in Tow. NM home sale would allow me to Lease AMG EVs probably until my demise with the Capital Gains and Interest generated by subsequent Investments.

But things change daily now in my Retirement. A few days ago was just looking to put Continental Summer Tires on AMG wagon, schedule Service B at ABQ dealership next month, then buy an extended warranty for the AMG until May 2028. Found out this past February that my recent spat of IBS-D was caused by a Gluten Allergy. I dropped 35-pounds since the Holidays and GF Diet now sucks because of my love of Food from New Mexico to New England. Believe my last Beer was in Reston Virginia in early December just after quick trip to Long Island where I had my last slices of Pizza. Primary Focus is getting last kid thru GA Tech. Will let the AMG community know of my future plans. My Internist and Japanese Acupuncturist are keeping me healthy now at 64.

Have 11K miles on 2024 Maverick 2.0T. All cars paid off including the Wife’s 2020 CRV Hybrid AWD. Sold TSLA Stock but instead of leasing AMG EQE SUV or a 2026 E53 Wagon about to get into a 2025 GR Corolla 6-stick. It’s hand assembled at same Japanese factory that made the Legendary LFA. They crank out about 49 units per Day. Will keep 2015 Chevy SS manual and Maverick but will have to part ways with my 2012 Ducati Diavel. My surgeon told me can’t afford to fall down. Still Cancer free after nearly 8-months!

if my Rivian stock blows up might get another Mercedes down the road…
