My wife’s E63S has some oil spots on the garage floor so I inspected and it looks to be the rear main seal. We purchased a platinum warranty from ASG through our credit union, which may or may not cover this, as it may not be a ”mechanical failure’” yet. Anyone here deal with ASG for warranty? Anyone in the Milwaukee area have RMS leak that they had repaired locally? Has anyone attempted to replace the vapor separators first to see if it helps the RMS leak? RMS leak

Normal for MB to not stand behind their product, unfortunately. Plenty of examples on this site. For example M274 piston cracking and M278 cylinder scoring and oil-in-harness across several engines. MB is a low quality product manufacturer.
