Hey guys hoping somebody could potentially help with an issue I'm having.

Audio is cutting to what seems to be one speaker very quietly intermittently when i have the volume over a certain level. This level changes depending on the song, im assuming thats due to different power draws with different songs. It will do this continuing until i turn the volume down enough. Dealership originally diagnosed it as a problem with the amplifier, spent over $3000 replacing that and the problem persists. Take it back to a different dealership and now theyre saying its likely the head unit but cant be sure. This is a $5800 part plus labour, and if that doesnt fix it i cant return the part because they have to program it to the car.

I just want to see if anybody else has had this issue and found a resolution before i go ahead and do this, potentially wasting more money.

The car has the upgraded burmester 3D sound system.

Have you tried any aftermarket auto audio shops to see if they can identify the issue(s) ?

Havent tried an aftermarket audio shop yet, as i thought the dealer would maybe know whats going on with their car but it seems like they dont lol

Yeah, this is in CAD though, but $2800 for the amp, plus labour. Then a bunch more for diagnostics for them to tell me $5800 plus labour for the head unit, but that will only "possibly" fix the problem.
