I know this sounds insane, but I cannot find the buckle for the backseat middle seatbelt in my 2021 E63 wagon. There is a recess at the base of the seat where it seems like that buckle might sit, but there is nothing there. What am I missing?

was the seat bottom ever removed? It may be reflected underneath and need to be re accessed

I had the same problem, middle buckle was under the back seat cushion. The back seat comes out incredibly easy, whole process took 10 minutes including a good vacuuming under the cushion.

So crazy! So you used the instructions above to remove the seat?

Yes, it was the instruction in the PDF in the bottom of that thread. Seat basically pulls up then out, no tools needed!
