Quickjack lifting post for various MBs

Simple question, do you also have to buy aftermarket pucks to go into the "pockets" under the car or can you use the rectangular blocks Quickjack provides and bridge across the outer edges of the Mercedes pockets (that is, nothing goes into the Mercedes-provided "pocket").
I'm measuring for a 1993 300SL, a 2018 SLC43 and a 2018 E63 S, which all seem to have the standard "pocket".
I bought an aftermarket puck (https://www.ebay.com/itm/364453892055) for emergency use with the round lifting cup on most rolling floor jacks, but round doesn't look like it fits the rectangular pocket on the Quickjack. Also, the tab that fits into the pocket on what I bought is overly tall, so I wonder about stability.
Anyone use Quickjacks? What's your set up? I saw another post but the details of the interface puck/pad wasn't discussed.

It is nice to have the car lifted at all four corners for pulling wheels, rotating tires, brake and/or suspension work. I also use the lift to raise the car, place six inch thick wood blocks under each tire, then lower onto the blocks and perform an alignment. Used to be pulling a floor jack around the car to lift a corner at a time was a PITA. Much easier now.
Be aware the Quickjack model I have is marginal for being long enough to reach the lift points so ensure the one you purchase is long enough to reach the jack points. I recommend against the add-on extensions as they change the geometry of the lift and the lift cannot quite get the car off the ground. The hydraulic cylinders should be pressurized with compressed air to ~50 psi to allow the lifts to lower fully. If the pressure is low, the car's weight will compress the lifts but once the tires are on the ground the car's weight is off the lifts and it seems to take forever for the lifts to lower the final few inches.
Would I buy them again? Yes. Would I recommend them? Yes.

QuickJack website says you can get the ramps wet, so I'd love to jack the car for detailing, which is done much more frequently than on our CLK350 daily driver. Wheels are such a pain and I'd much rather sit on a creeper and rotate the wheels to get really clean. Same for front fascias, which are their own detailing project. Washing under the rockers is also a pain. I'm getting old. Kneeling and getting wet gets old.
I have a specific project on my '93 300SL-24 where I need to rebuild the ADS distribution manifold. Scoping out where all the lines go with the car on ramps is impossible.
My RAM 2500 is not so much an issue as once it's up on ramps, it sits pretty high. Truck has stock-size wheels.
I'm a bit concerned about storage space, but buying the accessory that lets you hang it on the wall seems to solve that problem.

I leave the lifts on the garage floor just pushed together so my car's tires straddle the lifts. Those suckers are heavy!
