Emotion Start on a E43

Emotion Start on a E43
This may be old news but I just discovered this by experiment and I haven't seen or heard of this anywhere, so I want to share it for other E43 owners and just general E43 info.
The E43 (at least on my 2018) can start the engine in a similar fashion as the 2019+ AMGs with the Emotion Start feature.
To make it happen, do the following from the ignition off position:
1: Press the Start button once with your foot OFF the brake to enter ignition on without starting the engine. This allows you to change the Agility mode before starting. Select Sport+. This will also open the active exhaust valves so it will be louder than a normal start.
2: Press the Start button with your foot ON the brake to start the engine in Sport+. The engine will start by revving to around 2200 RPM then automatically return to idle and when dropping to idle it crackles and pops.
Pretty cool. Enjoy!

Likewise brother. I've learned a lot from you and all the many other great members here. Over my years here, I've saved thousands and thousands of dollars by having the information to be confident to do things myself and make better choices.

Ah mods are to personalize to your liking, after all the investment, you get more smiles whenever you see it and drive it, worth it : )
