Anyone have experience retrofitting Mercedes option 897 WIRELESS TELEPHONE CHARGING onto a W213? (2018 E63s wagon)
Just discovered my car is missing what appears to be a universal option on most other VINs I checked.
Waiting for the expert at the dealer to return to work, but thought I'd see if anyone has done this with OEM parts. The wireless module replaces the cigarette lighter in the center console storage cubby.

Wireless charging takes forever to charge. I suggest to just do the wired route.

That's really true with modern phones that support superfast charging. Do you have the 115v outlet in the rear? I find there's nothing like using a superfast charger plugged into AC.Originally Posted by bobblehead

Check the dimensions of your phone against those of the 2018 wireless charging pad. Some large phones will not fit. The pad was enlarged for 2021 to handle Galaxy 21 Ultra and iPhone Pro handsets.Originally Posted by SerottaD
