W213 E63S Tune Reliability

I have an e63s with 19k KM and it was serviced for a rms leak last week, I am now planning on getting downpipes from fi and ecu, tcu, cpc flash from @ecutuninggroup on insta. I was wondering how reliable the engine will be with the tune and downpipes. Will i need to get new intakes, injectors, etc or could the engine handle all the power? Thanks!

Whole section on tuning discussions here including all your mods that you're planning - this car holds up well to tunes:

Do you need injectors: no
Do you need intakes: no (but it will helps gains)

if you just did software ecu, tcu, cpc and down pipes you'll be very happy. Burning the candle hotter so you gotta pay to play, you will decrease the life of your engine over time, we are not silly, we get this.

how long do you plan to keep a tuned e63?

what is "reliable" to you? How do you define that? It means different things to different people. Are you under warranty? You likely are under warranty if you had the RMS job done recently.

How aggressively do you drive? That's a long time to have a tuned vehicle. My w212 is aggressively tuned but I am pretty mild with it until I occasionally wanna get on it; it'll last a while.

you'll be changing plugs and coils more frequently, frequent oil changes never a bad thing, this engine has proven to hand tuning well over time so far, no catastrophic reports (yet).

I do a few pulls every now and then, do a race sometimes but very rare. Other wise I drive it as a normal car.
