2019 E53 Convertible all 4 rotors and pads
So my "stealership" wants $3,300 to do the job, thinking that a bit high, I call another "local" store. They ask for my VIN, and ask how much the dealership the car is at, wants to do the job, I tell the service advisor, that's irrelevant, how much do you want to do the job. He asks me for 5 minutes, and he'll call me back. 5 minutes later, he calls back, and quotes me $2,550, and I make an appointment for next Tuesday (first available with a loaner). My selling dealer has my car now, as 2 more wheels that had previously been weld repaired (have insurance for wheels and tires), gave way, and 2 new wheels are being delivered and installed tomorrow, asked for 20 minutes to talk to the service manager, and he'd be back to me. I have tipped him well for the 5 years of my ownership, and am still waiting for the return promised call 5 hours later. I have a feeling that they're not going to match the price, which is fine by me, as I'll just drive it up the road, 15 miles and save over $700 dollars.
