Does the E43 have a tow mode and do both front and rear brakes need to brakes need to
So I'm taking my E43 into the shop Friday to have new pads, rotors, and winter tires tires put on, along with an alignment for good measure. It's not any kind of specialty shop that would be particularly knowledgeable about these cars but I'm strapped for time as I need brakes and snow is coming next week.
So I feel I need to be aware of these things to inform the shop.
Does the car need to be put into any special mode before lifting on a hoist? I know some vehicles require that due to the air ride.
Also, I know the rear brakes have a service mode but do the front as well? I know the shop has a good snap-on scanner, should that be able to put the brakes and service mode? Or will I need to give them the procedure for doing so without one?

No service mode for lift. Air suspension will adjust itself after. Parking brake release should be known process by any brake shop using their tool or car’s workshop mode.
