Hello everyone, back to the forum after some time. so aim currently on my third w213 e63S this time i just want to know if there a way to removed the Check engine light that pops up after installing don pipes without getting a tune? Sam really ok with how the car is now is just the stupid CE light that's bothering me and seeing this pricy tunes to just get a light delete it seems to be too much. if anyone knows any tuners willing to do this for a fraction of the price please email message me. please any help would be appreciated.

 

Unless you use a plug defouler or something of that means, no. You will need a tune to properly tune off the CEL.

 

I tried the O2 foolers on my car and they didn't work. Check engine light for a few hundred miles then it started misfiring. Just get it tuned and be done with it. The extra 100hp is a nice bonus. My car has been tuned for 40k miles (and 15k with PTG turbos) and haven't had any issues with it really.

 

yeah that's what i was planning on doing but am selling the car soon so just didn't want to mess with a tune. i haave another E63 on the way soon so am trying to just make sure the CEL is gone, but not many options without a tune.

 

You will need to have a tune, tune out the CEL.
