Lowering via MBTools vs module
I am looking to lower my 2017 S213 E43 wagon. I'm only wanting to lower the wagon about 15-20mm , I read that anything lower than 25mm falls out of the factory alignment window.
Have scoured through previous posts through the years as each of the OBD modules have risen and fallen/disappeared from the web.
On my wider web searches I found MBTools (I cannot find any posts whatsoever across the forums for this site, is it legit?) and they offer a one-time lowering for 100 Euro ($190 NZD).
I'm I.T by trade and have coded various makes/models over the years so have no reservations about plugging in and doing this myself.
I am of the mindset that I'm likely to only ever need/want to change the ride height once. So am thinking this is a much cheaper alternative to what seems to be the go-to/popular model OBD module at $550 USD ($910 NZD).
Am I missing anything here?
Thanks in advance!
