Recognize this battery tender quick connector?

I went to install a ctek quick connector cable for battery tending on my E63s, but to my surprise I found what looks like a battery tender cable already installed by the previous owner. I do not recognize the connector was wondering if anyone knew what brand it may be from?

I like how cleanly it was installed, I went to put the ctek connector in the same way but unfortunately it was not long enough to reach, so I'm looking for other openings. On my 911 I was able to run the connector up to the cowl area to get access without opening the hood but seems like on the E63 everything is closed off up there with plastic. Makes me miss the ease of accessing a trunk mounted battery.

I did a simple Google lens on this and it simply comes up as some type of generic connector but in this particular link is associated with a BMW 12 V adapter wire. I think what you have is a generic connector and what you can do is just splice in your CTek Connector and solder it in and use shrink tubing to seal it and then just start using it as a ctek quick connector.

Thanks Peter. Yeah splicing did cross my mind, may end up being the easiest way.

Reporting back because I did some more digging into the service records and found mention of a part number 000 982 29 21 being ordered. Did a search and and found the following:

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...des-0009822921

So my guess is this connector works with the OEM trickle charger from MB. Looks like they use ctek but with a different connector. Mystery seemly solved. Looks like a very expensive ctek with a different connector.

You can also use inline connectors like by Wago. Maybe better than soldering and certainly cleaner. Be sure to tie wrap so you don't repeatedly stress whatever connection you do make.

You can also splice the appropriate current/analagous male connector on the ctek side; this keeps your car clean.

you'll need the male connector off eBay from a donor harness tho to splice onto the ctek trickle charger.
