HUD Alignment ???
All... I had to have my windshield replaced in my 2021 AMG E63s. Since replacement the Heads Up Display is misaligned (has a shadow / blurry effect on each character). IE: the tach numbers have a shadow offset diagonally up and to the left. YES, I had Mercedes do the new windshield install with a Mercedes windshield. The dealer worked on the alignment today for most of the day with the tech giving up. Anyone know how to solve this problem? I have found the HUD service menu and tried a couple adjustments with no real difference, so I just undid the changes and exited. There are all kinds of adjustments in the menu but the darn haptic buttons on the steering wheel make the adjustment process infuriating. Any help here would be appreciated.

Cant give any real useful advise sadly, but I'll share my experience: I used to have a 2020 C63 with the HUD, and needed a windshield replacement. I used safelite through my insurance, at first I took the car to a local safelite facility to drop off but they called me back quickly to tell me they had ordered the wrong windshield and come pick up the car, they got one for a car without HUD, so apparently this matters. They ended up rescheduling for a home install appointment and came to my house, I did not watch the tech do his work but at the end I came down and tested the HUD and it was perfect. Sad to hear the dealership somehow cannot figure this out, hope you are able to find a remedy.
