Aftermarket Paddle Shifters

Has anyone found aftermarket paddle shifters for our cars that aren't the stick on type? I tried the stick on ones and they're absolutely horrendous, couldn't live with them.

Does Mercedes make anything cool that could work from another car?

what are you looking for that the OEM ones don't provide you?
