E53 Non CPO question

Looking at a 22 E53 with 8000miles. The dealer didn’t CPO it and said the reason was it’s like brand new, is this something yall have heard of before as don’t really trust salespeople. The factory warranty has run out a few months ago.
Have inquired with Highline for a Fidelity warranty in event I purchase it.
thanks.

I wouldn't own an E53 without a warranty based on this forum's feedback. That hybrid system is sketchy.

That's a BS reason not to CPO a car... there are plenty of CPO 22s for sale, some with similar mileage. If the price is also way lower than market (around 55-63k depending on options, color, 3/5-door, etc.) I'd be very cautious. A few years ago, I almost bought a 2yo JCW Clubman from a MINI dealer that strangely wasn't CPO... I found out later that it had been modified (exhaust was cut) but returned back to stock prior to the sale.

I just purchased a 2022 E53 yesterday. The car had 16k miles and it was CPO. The dealer can CPO the car for sure. They probably don't want to spend the money doing the inspection. Doesn't make any sense.
