CEL but no usable code

Hello all the DIYers out there. My 2018 E63S sedan is idling high and is throwing a CEL but the only related OBD2 code is for high idle. I am thinking vacuum leak, but wonder if any one else has had a high idle issue and what codes it threw? Car has a RennTech tune but was there for 18 months without codes.

thanks for any help!

Update- the car only idles fast when it is in D or R, idles at 750rpm when in P or N.

Hello- I use a Autel maxiPRO MP900E.

now I’m thinking it is not a vacuum leak because it is fine if the transmission isn’t in gear. Wondering if a partially clogged transmission filter or passage in the valve body would cause the idle to increase to achieve proper transmission pressure.

Is this RPM issue present in stock and tuned modes?

Yes, I’ve put it back to stock and it does the same thing.

quick video. Cold start, revs to do self check, settles down. RPMs jump up when I engage D or R.

One further thought -- have you done a transmission calibration reset?
