2022 E53 AC drain leaking inside
2022 AMG 53 purchased Feb13 8300miles from MB Greenway Autonation in Houston no CPO but did buy the Autonation extended warranty.
Went out one AM to go to work and multiple error lights on in dash, battery light on, wipers had a mind of their own, ac quit working.
After they dug into it at dealer found a pinched tube for the AC drain has soaked the passenger floor, and there was corrosion on connectors for some of the harness connections. They said extended warranty would not cover it so trying insurance but adjuster told service advisor likely won’t cover it.
has anyone else had water intrusion from a pinched ac line ?
Does the below apply to the Eclass?
NHTSA recall 21V288000
anyone had luck having a dealer buy back a used car like this as advisor is saying 30hours for harness, plus’s harness and possible more after harness replaced.
Thanks.

The photo above looks like some type of plastic is cracked/damaged. Cant tell if thats the actual hose or something else.
I have no idea about a dealer buying back a car.
I dont think that NHTSA recall noted above applies here. They look like different drain hoses. You can read about that recall by clicking on the following link and scrolling down and clicking on the HVAC Control Systems: https://lemon-manuals.la/Mercedes%20...ins/Campaigns/
Heres what that is:
I couldnt find diagrams for an E53 but was looking thru the E63 W213.288 and found the drain hose (510). Looked up the part # and noticed its the same as a few other models like the W204 C63. I looked up TSB's for the C63 and they even have one for the drain hose back in 2013 i'll note below. I skimmed for any TSB's for the W213 about the HVAC and couldnt find anything.
