BECAUSE YOU MISSED THE PREVIOUS POST

LINK is below...

See ya, no need to apologize either, it is your E-pinion that Gore gave you when he invented the internet

Oh and they are real cops, credibility also, and they have no reason to profit from that video either... So what more can we do for you?

Let's just face it you are wrong, i will give you the benefit of the doubt, kind of like a put up or shut up type of shootout. Here ya go...

Would you like to come on over and go for a ride in a K-40 equipped vehicle? I am sure i can arrange it. Plus you can save some money. I have an hourly rate, will provide the vehicle, I will even install it before your own eyes, then we can run the gauntlet. on top of every speed trap we go buy without a ticket and a laser warning, as in the laser goes off, and we are doing 20 over the speed limit, no tickets... you pay me a grand on top of the hourly rate.

For every ticket i get, i will pay you a grand. Now here is the messed up part, i do this every day at the same speed and never get a ticket...

so put up or shut up

you have the video of the "OLD" laser diffuser working what is the issue?

Gimmick, creative as all hell, but a gimmick, anything that takes your eyes off the road in front of you is a distraction. some people say they learned to read it in their peripheral vision but couldn't always distinguish where it was.

i thought it was pretty cool concept though

Obviously, jumping into this flame war is a really stupid idea because I just open myself up to abuse, but I'd like to add my completely objective opinion, as I do not sell radar or lidar jammers/detectors. Jbondox, if the moneyback guarantee means installing and then de-installing the K40, isn't the process going to leave your car with little holes from the deinstall? I had an early k40 unit in a porsche a long time ago (before laser), and it worked great, but it was installed in my dash and if it was deinstalled I would have had two holes in my dashboard. Also, the video is inconclusive to me, as the car is going 10 miles an hour and appears to be flashing his brights, which is not a real world test. Unless the jammer makes your brights flash continuously, which would really **** off police. Also, the person testing the unit appears to sell k40, which makes it not all that objective. And Radarking, since you don't sell K40 but sell other stuff, that makes you the opposite of objective. We need a test conducted by an independent lab on simulated highway conditions.

I'd say in my experience, Valentine 1's are excellent detectors and rank very highly, but they do false frequently. If you drive somewhere on a regular basis the the Bogey counter helps you sort the falses after you've made the trip a few times (like driving to work). The new Passport is supposedly an excellent unit as well, but in my mind the V1 is the unit to beat. K40 is supposed to make excellent equipment as well, and I will say I once drove from Long Island to Boston in 2 hours and 8 minutes (214 miles) and the K40 did keep me from getting busted, but that was 15 years ago, so technology on both sides of the equation have changed.

I'd do a V1 with a separate lidar jammer until the K40 video is done in real world conditions. If the K40 is proven to work, go for it.

Zax63, nice write up. On the video with the cop. Basically here is how it went down. And this is first hand knowledge, and yes I was there. First, the shop that installed it called up Officer Don Poney (OD), who is the DARE officer and said, hey I want to see if this works. OD said, Officer Rezabeck (Spelling) also known as Hercules is the traffic enforcement officer and will see if he can line something up. which turned out to be an hour later.. so really there was no, let's set up a movie studio to film this. Plus Esoteric did not want to rub it in the cops face, that they are defeating laser. anyways they agreed the highway would put people in danger and at risk, so it was done behind the police and fire station in the back lot. Also it was done at point blank range, obviously it would be harder to defuse a more focused beam than a 4' beam 1500 feet out. The reason the lights flash is because the Hercules told him to flash his lights when he gets the warning on the inside of the vehicle. Obviously, the driver who was 18-19 year old was excited and went light crazy. Also to justify the test, the officer was on break, and it was basically training, that way he can let the officer know why there is no reading, because there is so many nut huggers out there that would cry foul. look what the city is doing with there money and time political!

Also out of respect for the police office that did the test, I think they only showed 3 passes of it jamming, there was really like 8-9... One more time he kept stating, and even went and plugged it into his Crown Vic.

The video was edited of course because of length and bandwidth. However, where there is a lot of BS flying everywhere, one has the ability to say wow, esoteric is in Ohio, Strongsville police has to be an hour away so Google strongsville police Ohio and the number to the police station comes up. or the fact that they have a web site with a traffic division and contact info listed for the officer. BTW this was done almost 2 years ago.

That video is a joke. I don't see a K40 being installed. I don't see an independent person testing it. I don't see the lidar gun being jammed. I wouldn't believe a cop or anything that a person says that sells the K40. Try coming up with an actual video that shows the lidar gun being jammed to the gun on an actual road.

Your video means nothing and is just as useless as you.

Guys,

All you need to know about Radarking, you can find here:

Radarking

Count how many forums he's a member of. I lost count at 15 and they're all random message boards. You'll see Mercedes, BMW, 6speedonline, Acura NSX, SRT8, Cherokee, Honda, RX7, Saturn Sky, to name a few. He doesn't own a Mercedes, or any car, that I can tell. I haven't seen him name one in any signature on any of those boards or post 1 picture.

And if you look at his posts, they're all the EXACT SAME. He goes on all these boards, peddles the V1 and bashes everything else. You'll find so many threads on those other boards that look just like this one. It's only a matter of time before he gets banned here. Just ignore him.

For the record, I own a K40 and have owned the Passport 8500 X50 and a V1. All 3 detected radar about the same, all very well. Of course, the passport and V1 can't jam laser so once it detects it, your cooked. My K40 has jammed laser in a real world environment. Do I have video proof? No. I don't drive around with camcorder rolling in my car. But, the laser signal went off and when I drove by the officer he pointed his finger at me. On another occasion I witnessed an officer tapping the side of his gun. MY K40 JAMS LASER! I can't say that anymore clearly. Could the officer have been using an older gun? Sure, I have no idea.

Is K40 the best? I doubt it, there's always something better. But mine works great, I've yet to get a ticket, and the super stealth install is outstanding.

This guy thinks I sell K40's which is a joke. I'm just a lowly computer engineer and have no affiliation with K40, Passport, or Valentine One.

How about this video from Speed Measurement Labs? Would that qualify? Honestly, I don't want your money, I'd be happy if you just left this forum.

http://k40.com/revu_main.html#

Look down the page a bit, there are videos from SML of the K40 working. Oh so sneakily hidden under "Speed Measurement Labs Laser Diffuser Video".

Before you argue that it's on K40's site, don't bother... all your proof of it not working is one damn video on Youtube from years ago; hardly "conclusive" evidence itself.

All the talk of K40 threatening to sue you, or Roy, or whatever clown it was is stupid. Here's something: truth is a valid defense against slander. If the K-40 doesn't work & people say so, no big deal. If it does work & people want to crap on it to sell their own stuff, it's slander.

I wonder why "they" don't mention K40 anymore?

i use the Bel STI...completely invisible to radar detector detectors in virginia and dc.

also the blinder m20 laser jammer. best investment yet....plus laser veil and a honeypot/license plate cover. looks bright and shiny but deflects laser.

I do want to say thanks for the input from everyone on here. Finally the tool got nailed. And I am glad there is someone here that convey their thoughts without getting all passionate about their view like me.. and of course radarking.

I think this should end his little spam session.

V1 Hands Down!!! Nothing Comes Close

My buddy and I was running with a few friends down I75 in Tamps. We have V1's, one of the other fellas has a BEL and the other has a passport. We were doing 110mph and picked up a tropper. The V! caught it about 1/2 mile away, the fella with the passport was behind us and slowed down when we slowed down. The cat with the BEL picked it up too late and while he was in first, he is also the only one that has a ticket. :-)

V1, is second to none!!!

Good thing the cops were shooting radar and not laser. But yeah, the V1 is a great detector.

Cosine of the angle θ (theta) = speed read.

Its really nice to know where the sources are coming from because you know side sources aren't an immediate threat. Its 360 degree awareness, not "protection."

You don't need 360 degree coverage per se because its impossible to detect a moving objects speed using the Doppler effect by shooting it on the side as it passes by. However, directional awareness through the 360 degrees is useful.

I've used the V-1 for years, and have a large group of V1 wielding driver friends. All who I know who have strayed from the V1 invariably return to it.

If the radar detector doesn't have directional indicators or front-rear-detectors its never going to measure up to a V1.

I had a Valentine One for years and it was great until two things happened in the SF Bay area -- 1) the highway dept installed radar-based traffic flow monitoring devices all over many highways causing frequent false alarms (look for the little white boxes on light poles/highway signs) and 2) increased use of lidar/laser systems -- unfortunately the V1 is just not effective at dealing with either.

After researching this, I learned that only one system effectively deals with both -- it's the Passport 9500ci. Clearly the top of the line at Passport and probably the industry. It's expensive (about $1,500 and a total of $2,000 installed), but well worth it -- consider potential cost of tickets and increased insurance rates over the years. It has an integrated GPS system that stores and blocks out false alarms after the 3rd false at the exact same location -- no more falses from those *** traffic flow devices. It also has a laser "interfering" system that prevents you from getting clocked with laser front or rear. It actually works very well -- I know many people with the same system. The only system on the market that comes close is one from K40, but it does not store fasle alarms like this one. There is simply no equal to this system. It is also a stealth system -- it must be custom installed and can be almost completely hidden (except for laser shifting device in front/rear which is hardly noticeable).

Of course one could simply obey the speed limit all the time, but then those people wouldn't be on this forum would they?
